![]() ![]() This is one of those books where you fall in love with the characters and story so much, you just don't want to let them go. She really brought the story to life - and it wasn't easy to do as there were three main characters (one of them being a three year old child) and a variety of secondary characters. I have not read the physical book yet, but the audio version was beautifully narrated by Hayden Bishop. The consent, communication and tenderness in these scenes are what take them from merely sex to the most intimate of lovemaking. One in this book, and one in Perfect Rhythm. ![]() ![]() I am a die-hard romantic and Jae has written two of the most beautiful love scenes I've ever read. It was fascinating, it was impressive, it was exciting, it was frightening and at times utterly beautiful. The detail was so amazing that it felt like I was riding right along with their wagon train from Independence, Missouri to Oregon. The painstaking research that went into this was apparent and I was completely riveted by the story. ![]() HOW did it take me this long to experience this book?!? I'm still making my way through Jae's published works and after 11 of them so far, I have to say that this is in my top 2 of hers (the other being Perfect Rhythm) and way up there on my all-time favorites list. ![]()

The reliance on the secondary texts often lead to confusing Quran with these texts, thereby, marginalizing Quran in the Muslim religious discourse. Shariah, that is, classical Muslim law is based on this understanding. These texts are referred in developing tafsir, that is, exegesis or interpretation of the Quran. ![]() To understand Quranic exegesis, we need to know the intertextualities or interrelation between the secondary texts, such as, hadith, that is, narratives of the prophet and Sunnah, that is, prophet’s biography. Patriarchal exegesis is often due to application of these secondary texts. ![]() Secondary texts were highly regarded among religious scholars and state elites. Many pre-Islamic arab, byzantine, jewish and persian elements were included in the secondary texts. The secondary texts were influenced by social and cultural practices. In order to understand how Muslims produce religious meanings from the Quran one needs to identify the methodology used in reading the Quran and the secondary texts. For Muslims, Quran is the source of Truth and has practical applications in this world. The Quran was revealed through divine inspiration to prophet Muhammed over a period of years. They change the words from their right places and forget a good part of the message that was sent them. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When an ancient hidden treasure is at stake, people will do anything to find it first. The film does have a special place in the sub genre of nature gone wild films, and is very entertaining from start to finish. This is the type of film that definitely should not be seen as serious. However Squirm is a fine debut and showcases the director's talent perfectly. I thoroughly enjoyed Lieberman's third feature, the obscured Slasher Just Before Dawn, and he truly perfected his craft in the horror genre with that film. ![]() For its low-budget and the time period, Squirm is a stunning if imperfect film that still manages to be great fun despite the flaws. She met grizzly bears, wolves, coyotes, gunslingers, trappers, ranchers and even a handsome desperado. Without the protection of sunglasses, or sunscreen she faced sweltering heat in the plains.
